Major Water Resources Management and Engineering

2025/26, second cycle (post-engineering degree), full-time studies

The studies are conducted in Polish. The studies start from the summer semester, last for 3 of semesters (1,5 years) and end with a vocational degree magister inżynier.

The engineering and water management program at the second-degree level allows students to acquire knowledge, skills, and social competencies essential for professional work in the field of water management. This encompasses decision-making, design, investment implementation, and operation of water facilities and hydraulic structures. Graduates gain qualifications for construction project design and management, obtaining construction permits in both structural and hydraulic engineering specialties. They are also eligible for further studies at the eighth education level and postgraduate programs.

Potential employment opportunities include Państwowe Gospodarstwo Wodne Wody Polskie entities, local government institutions, water construction and land reclamation companies, project offices, consulting firms, educational institutions related to the field, and research institutes.

W semestrze 1. studenci realizują szkolenie bhp na platformie dostępnej pod adresem https://szkolenia.sggw.pl.

W semestrach 1 i 2 studenci wybierają formę zajęć dotyczącą umiejętności komunikowania się w języku obcym; do wyboru są zajęcia prowadzone w formie lektoratu w PSNJO SGGW lub w formie zajęć w języku angielskim.

Studenci studiów stacjonarnych mają do dyspozycji dwa moduły specjalizacyjne, przy czym na poszczególnych specjalizacjach mogą wybrać w sumie 6 przedmiotów, a cztery są obowiązkowe (liczba studentów na poszczególnych specjalizacjach jest ograniczona). Moduły specjalizacyjne są realizowane w semestrach 2-3.
