W semestrze 1. osoby studiujące rozpoczynają naukę w ramach zakresu kształcenia, który będzie kontunuowany w semestrach 2, 3, oraz 4. Zakresy kształcenia do wyboru to : Pedagogika szkolna z Treningiem Umiejętności Emocjonalno-Społecznych lub Edukacja ustawiczna i zarządzanie w oświacie. Wybór dokonywany jest podczas rekrutacji. Uruchamiany jest ten zakres kształcenia, który uzyskał większą liczbę wyborów.
